Is 800km against ships even possible for a AWAC at 12000m? I'm pretty sure you'd need your radar a good 40-50km high for that kind of detection range. IMO, this data is BS. The poster said it's from one of those aviation experience fairs which I'm pretty sure isn't even an official event.
KJ-2000 at one of the exhibitions, probably not 100% accurate numbers here, but good to consider.
Can track 1800 targets and process 700-900 of them.
Can actively guide both aircraft and missiles against target (A guide B here operational in 2000s?)
can guide 100 wave of 2000 aircraft against targets.
can support MRLS attacks
can guide naval ships and naval aviation
800km range against sea targets and 1200km range against aerial targets
i don't think you should over dwell on the ranges. The other stuff is pretty interesting. Is 800km against ships even possible for a AWAC at 12000m? A bit too far to be sure, but quite an interesting shape under J-16 wings. Two nice images of Y-9LG over Beijing.
