Trump 2.0 official thread

Got to give Trump credit of not using the excuse "we will move our manufacturing to a poor democracy away from the authoritarian ccp!"

Well he did say that US allies are sometimes worse than adversaries. I’ve been reading and watching stuff where Indian pundits talk about how India is feeling isolated. Maybe it’s because they like to blow with the wind. They’re only fair-weather friends. I think most of the world sees that and someone like Trump particularly doesn’t like that so he sees what India is doing and just trying to leech off the US for their own gain only.

I’ve seen some Indian channel repost old videos like they were new of that Samir Saran guy talking to Europeans about how Europe should stop looking towards China and go all-in on India. Funny thing is now I saw him on another show where he’s saying how India can’t become a $10 trillion economy without engaging with China. Quite a contrast from everyone should forget about China and partner with India.

Also a factor in Trump's/west's thinking is the May 7 defeat of india where she was shown to be all talk and bluster but an incompetent loser and Trump in particular hates this toady weakling types like modi and his ilk hoping to be rewarded and helped by USA/West just by bragging and being anti-Chinese.Aug 14th is when PAF will show the full extent of their victory and I suspect that Gen Munir when he visited WH for luncheon showed Trump some (cleared by PAF/Chinese gov't of course )very convincing evidence of said victory not the insane bragging and boasting of modi/india.Trump didn't hide his disdain for modi and now even cuts off anymore tech hirings from india and such.:D:D:D

I don't think that adequately honors the glory of Trump. He needs 78 new private jets and each one should be renovated to the same standards.

He doesn't like to pick or support losers. He only likes to pick and support winners. In that sense, he's better than the Dems and Neocons who are happy to pick and support losers so long as they harm the designated enemy.

I'm curious to why China was able to industrialize/re-industrialize so quickly relative to India.

Even by the 80's China was in a good position. I remember reading a book about the Beijing-Jeep JV, when the American executives went to see the BAIC plant that was to be used for the JV, the shape of the plant was considered not bad. Obviously the tooling was obsolete, and quality standards were out of date, but the plant was laid out properly and the workers were well trained.

Was India's economy always based more on agriculture?

One of the factors is much better educated populace. Pretty much everyone got basic education.

No,Trump needs to build a sumptuous Summer Palace and a Marble boat in Florida's Lake Okechobee where he and Melania can enjoy life as royalty that they are.One trillion USD "defence budget" just really isn't enough ;)

I f..ng despise that loudmouth idiot, Samir Saran - he's one of the brain child of an Indian think tank ORF or something. Indians love to place the cart before the horse so to speak and celebrating too prematurely without really doing some serious and sober analysis of whatever situation they're dealing with. It comes across as desperate, slimy, opportunistic, untrustworthy ally. Which is why the country and unfortunately the people are being subjected to ridicule albeit some are warranted precisely because of their inability to speak softly and act with some sense of humility.

Because a founding principle of PRC is to create a class-less society, to overturn the old imperial way of organizing society into 王-士大夫-民 classes, that's why the new phrase "人民" was invented to cover everybody and specifically made to be part of CPC's party slogan.

And India is the exact opposite of all of that. There are lots of reforms that India could do that would lift up the country as a whole, Modi is even aware of them and even tried some of them. But they all failed because they ran against the interest of the landlord class. Remember that agriculture reform that Modi tried to do and had to be called off because of all the protests by farmers? Who do you think financed all that protest and let their farm hands out to block the roads?
