Russian, chinese, usa and uk carrier usage targets and strategies completly different.

Chinese carriers needs to protect the trade and ballistic subs in the Chinese sea, contested area with lot of dangers, and minimal control from China over the seabed and areas.
Anti subs aircrafts and enemy subs can by in the sea, so they need airpower.

Russia, other hand, most likelly just finished the installation of nuclear reactor poweered acoustic sensor network in the arctic ocean.

Combine it with long range torpedo/missile/torpedo systems from diesel subs and long range drones these systems makes the Kuz purposeless.

I don't want to comment on the purpose USA/UK carriers, because I can't find a reason for they existence beyond corruption .
NGL, I'm not sure why China has not been installing a massive, dense network of modern sensors in SCS at the minimum and should extend this coverage to basically all coastal waters and beyond.

This is the Russian exclusive economic zone

Areas under the ice cap extremly hard for anyone to access, or see whatever Russia doing on the seabed .

we know that 17 years ago Russia planted a flag on the seabed by two mini sub.
So, they have the means to install sonar network everywhere around the basins, without anyone having idea what they do. And they doing this for 20 years now.

Well, leaving anything on seabed in zones outside of Chinese shores would have limited life before an american ship or sub cut it into pieces , unless 24/7 continous patroling provided. Like around the artifical islands.

As part of the recent Russian naval exercises "July Storm", we publish unique footage of the use of the Tor-M2KM air defense system on a Russian corvette. In the video, the Tor-M2KM air defense system is located on the deck of the Viktor Velikiy patrol ship of Project 22160. The ships of this project were initially built without air defense systems, but the installation of the Tor-M2KM air defense system improved the protection of these ships. The video shows how the Tor-M2KM air defense system shoots down an Kh-35 anti-ship missile. Construction of Project 22160 ships has been discontinued.

Residents of the city of Vilnius published footage of the flight of the Russian UAV "Gerbera", technical information about it is on the channel. Presumably, the UAV "Gerbera" was launched in the Republic of Belarus, after which it went off course. According to the Lithuanian authorities, this is not the first case. It is worth noting that, judging by the video, the air defense did not record the flight of the UAV "Gerbera".

Units of the 215th separate repair and restoration battalion of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of Russia showed a homemade FPV interceptor drone armed with an AKS-74U assault rifle. The drone is already in use, the video shows tests. The main target of such interceptor drones are agricultural hexacopters, drones converted into bombers, called "Baba Yaga". Such drones are used by the Ukrainian and Russian armies. The interceptor drone can also be used to work on ground targets. To increase the operating time of the drone, the assault rifle on it is lightened, reloading is carried out on the ground.

The work on repairing the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov was stopped several months ago. The contractors were laid off.
Supposedly they hit the original repair budget limit.

Andrei Kostin is the head of VTB Bank and he was made Chairman of the USC i.e. United Shipbuilding Corporation by Putin. Supposedly to improve the organization and efficiency of USC.

But remember USC is the main contractor. It will be the MoD and the government as the client who will decide if they will continue fixing the ship or not.

Russian military personnel have revealed new details about the NRTK Kurier robotic systems. The NRTK Kurier tracked robots have been in use for several years, including in combat operations in Ukraine, and they were previously shown. Currently, the NRTK Kurier robots are being mass-produced.

J-35 will maul SU-57. I doubt it wants that challange.

Don't disagree with you, but UAC could certainly benefit from a CAPEX injection from our Bharati bhais so they may refine the Su-57 into an indisputable, if not legitimate 5th gen fighter.
