For the first clip, I don't know how the Type 81 that the guy in the video was using jammed so much.
Improper care? Old, outdated ammo? What are you guys' thoughts?
EDIT: From my looks at it, it looks more like a normal RPK though.
Most likely a combination of all three factors.
Well yeah. But the thing is the video labeled the gun as a Type 81 LMG instead of the RPK.
EDIT: Nah, nevermind, it's probably a Type 81.
Curious, did Thailand buy CN weapons before? Also, if Cambodia has US weapons in their inventory?
Yes Thailand has CN weapons, and also yes Cambodia has US weaposn but mostly only small arms leftofvers from the Vietnam War

There's high probability he was shooting for video, standing like Rambo. If there were enemy on the opposite, he wouldn't had stood like that.
Both nation buy from US and CN.
Thailand have plenty of CN made weapons like VT-4 MBT and Frigate class ship. CN also have contract to deliver 1 submarine (2 still under consideration) to RTN but delayed due to issues with engine spec.
Air Force are dominated by western based weapons due to compatibility and probably didn't want to upset US too much.
To be fair, Ukrainian infantry was armed to the teeth by NATO since 2014.

Cambodia fucked around, and now they will find out why Thailand has no democracy and no money for any civilian projects...
although thai people are saying Cambodia has no democracy and yet their some how blaming China for it.
