Yesterday Major General Wanchana Sawasdee confirmed on Facebook:

"The Thai cavalry lives up to its reputation
Knights of the battlefield: swift, fierce, and decisive.
Pity the Cambodian troops using outdated Cold War-era tanks — the T-53 and T-54 each manned by four crew members. They’ve already been destroyed. Whether the crew managed to crawl out in time, we don't know. What we do know is two tanks were obliterated by the Thai cavalry, using the VT4 main battle tank.

The VT4 is a fourth-generation tank of the modern era and it destroyed one T-53 and one T-54 with ease.

The VT4 outclasses the T-53 and T-54 in every system. It has thermal imaging cameras usable day and night, a Hunter-Killer system that enhances target acquisition, a 125mm main gun, and composite-reactive armor, which greatly increases survivability when under fire.

We, the Thai cavalry, take great pride in fighting side by side with all brave soldiers from every branch in this operation.

The cavalry knights of the battlefield: swift, fierce, and decisive."

How I feel that Thai army purposely use all American equipment. VT-4 not deployed?
There are rumors that the tank that supported the assault on the Cambodian military position at Wat Kaew was likely a VT4 from the 21st Tank Battalion because it is their direct area of responsibility.

Seems unlikely to be OPLOT because that tank belongs to a unit outside the area. Moving a large tank like the OPLOT from Prachinburi to the lower Isaan region just doesn't make sense.

Armed clash erupts on Laos-Cambodia border; Lao military detains 10 armed intruders
The Lao military issued an emergency notice on Saturday, stating that troops engaged in a fierce exchange of fire with several armed Cambodian individuals who had illegally crossed the border in the area between Champasak Province and Thailand's Ubon Ratchathani Province, China Media Group reported.Ten suspects were detained and weapons were confiscated, the report said.

Based on a report from the Champasak Military Command in Laos, between July 24 and 25, a group of armed Cambodian personnel illegally crossed into Lao territory, per CMG. The Lao military responded swiftly, engaging in a firefight with the intruders.
Following the clash, Lao forces apprehended 10 Cambodian armed individuals, seizing four rifles and several grenades, CMG reported. Three people were reported dead and one injured. Lao authorities are currently conducting further interrogation and investigation into the incident.

The correct term should be long-range rocket rather than missile. The key point is when they mention it, it might be put in use soon.
UPDATE: Cambodia has no need to use PHL-03 long-range missiles to fire at Thailand.

The Ministry of National Defense would like to reject the false, fabricated and distorted information from the Thai side that Cambodia has used PHL-03 long-range missiles to fire at Thai territory.

Pictures of captured Cambodian weapons & equipments at Mount Samkru (ภูมะเขือ). Some weapons identification would be great, especially for the second pic, since the original article I got these pics from listed them as PF-89 despite them not looking like one.
