Have they been using the starboard cat less than the one at port?

No cats on STOBAR carriers. You are talking about the two forward launch positions in front of the island? I don't see a difference in usage between the two.

The long position that straddles the angled deck (on port) might or might not be used more often than the two forward ones (for heavier loads.)

Yes, my bad, I know there's no cats, but I misspoke.

I meant the circled area seemed like it had fewer tire marks versus the starboard launch position. But your explanation clarifies things.
