It's not a hard concept to understand. Are you not reading through the posts or are you developing sympathy for whomever is taking a beating? It's BOTH a hospital AND a command center. THAT'S why it's so despicable. Israel is the nation version of a soldier shooting at enemies while holding a pregnant woman in front of himself, except this pregnant woman is willingly his shield. "No one is innocent," are her words. And you're saying it's better to be shot by him than to shoot him through her.

Hiding command centers under hospitals doesn't mean that the command centers are now ethically immune.

It's not tit for tat. Israel bombed hospitals to kill civilians. Iran bombed hospitals to kill the military installations hiding under the hospitals.

They do. They really do. Your kind of thinking gets people killed and I have a feeling that it doesn't extend to yourself if you were attacked. You just have sky high standards for others. If someone were gauging your eyes and biting your nuts in a fight were you both agreed to fight clean, I have a feeling you'd do the same right back rather than yelling, "Stop! I won't do the same to you because 2 wrongs don't make a right, but please stop!

Have you been living in a cave? This has already happened and the US sanctioned and seized the assets of the judges. There is no law in this world as long as the US and West still run it. Giving Israelis a taste of their own medicine and more is the only way to handle business for now.

Perhaps some senior Iranian officers are grateful to Israel for the expedited promotion opportunities that their HVT decapitation strikes have created.

I don't think that's realistic. The entire Iranian grand strategy has failed, and their best option now is to swallow the bitter pill of the U.S. ultimatum and turn inward, with a focus on socioeconomic reforms and modernization.

Iran is done as a major regional player for at least a generation.

This would essentially be akin to the USSR disbanding, and we know how that ended. aside from regime change, the current gov won't settle for this. The best option is for them to deter US involvement, reform their society, and drop the fatwa on nuclear weapons. The whole iranian mesh of allies throughout the region has been rendered irrelevant for the long term, i wouldnt know about a generation however, things move very fast over there.

Trump knows he will pay politically if he attacks which has the potential to drag US into another ME war. "Not starting wars" is something he is proud of.

At the same time, Bibi has dragged him into this mess. But Trump really doesn't want to do this.

2 weeks tells me a couple things.

• Time for US carriers and more assets to get into the region.
• Time for Israel to continue to degrade Iran.
• More time to negotiate with Iran and potentially strike a deal.

This move by Trump will win him so much political points at home and cost Bibi points at his home. Brilliant move by Trump if I may say.

Iran should give up their program and focus on improving themselves conventionally. They can't win this foolish war. They should look to what Pakistan has done and go fully into C******* (the country we can't speak off) and Russian military upgrades for the next 4-5 years. Iran has the money to even acquire the J-35s.

Continuing to fight this war is stupid.

Israel won't be able to strike them if they give up the nuclear program. And even more Israel won't be able to do jack sh*t while Iran upgrades its air force with Su-35s and J-35s and other Russian and C****** (the country we can't speak off) AD systems.

The solution to all this is very clear.

There is no nuclear program.... Iran has been developing a nuclear weapon for how many decades now, according to Netanyahu?

If anything, this whole situation stems from the fact that the Iranians didn't develop one and believed that conventional deterrence was enough.

I think Iran can do a deal with Trump where Iran can enrich for civil usage(aka no nuke *wink* *wink*) and a cease fire with Israel..
The only bitter pill Iran has to swallow is their pride and stop fence sitting and get the necessary high end tech gear from Russia and China.

Not correct. You haven't read through everything. Mossad tunnels were found under the hospital. @sheogorath please post it again or direct him to it.

And separately, there was another incident where an Israeli command was build under a large civilian center. Once this is done, all your civilian centers and hospitals are open to attack. This is not case-by-case with absolute proof. This is war and Israel has abused separately between civilian and military so they can suffer the full consequences.

This is in addition to and beside the fact that they attacked the hospitals and population centers of other countries.

What Disney movie brainwashed you to believe this? It's so far out of this world it's insane. I wouldn't teach this to my 5 year old. And I have a feeling that in person, you could be forced to break your foolish rule/sentiment in seconds when wrongs are committed onto you and you have no legal mechanism with which to fight back.

Also not correct. Killing civilians, or generally inflicting massive damage can make peace if you make their country too scared to attacked you again for fear of loss. This is the only language countries like Israel understands. Never show weakness or civility to a country that only speaks cruelty and brutality.

What is the IRGC for? If that is not possible, perhaps it is time to mobilize the country, unless they are soft enough to surrender, then it is better to negotiate, give up the propaganda that said they would raze Tel Aviv and American bases and hand the country over to the Zionist son of the Shah.

Any negotiations that don’t involve Iran being allowed to have nukes, will lead to them ending up in the same exact position they are now. Israel will just regroup, rearm, and go in again, later.

And next time, in the initial attack, the US might consider jumping in along with them, in order to overwhelm the Iranians. Iran might be able to defend itself, even in that scenario, but is that really what Iran wants? Just constantly being on their toes, never knowing when Israel might just get up one day and feel like spilling blood?
