Tbh, i felt like both Israel and US goal is not the overthrowing of the current Iranian government, but instead giving it a 91 Gulf War treatment. Giving a sort of a shock treatment to cull the Anti-Zionist appetite of the current Iranian regime.

Trump probably believe he has an “holy mandate” by god to launch a crusade on Iran. His ego is being stroked with religious fervor by his circle and foreign instigators.

Israel is trying to block US citizens from leaving the country. Chinese and other foreign citizens should leave immediately. The Israelis intend to use you as human shields.
War is about objectives, not optics or attempts or participation, this is something western minds just can't seem to grasp, not just in physical wars but biowars or trade wars or tech wars.
AD are there to win the war, there isn't enough AD in the world to protect every square inch against all form of attack or every individual against assassinations from every vector, but there are enough AD to protect what you need to protect when you need to protect them.
Iran lost people because of their counter-intelligence failure, not AD, at the same time Israel is begging America for help because they thought intelligence success means winning wars.
The Isreali obsession over saving face and looking strong is why they're is depleting not only their own but America's stockpile, and in the grand scheme of things is dragging down not only themselves but the entire western world which if you haven't noticed isn't in a great economic state.
Many fundamentalist Christians probably believe that they can hasten Rapture, which has no support in the scripture, by hastening Armageddon.
