7 dead and injuries in hundreds amid Iranian missile strikes on israel

Yikes.
Israelis aren't used to these kind of headlines

Hopefully this makes Israel deescelate and end this conflict.
The math of deescalation favors Iran though. Escalation likely hurts the US the most. Don’t forget US only built 900 or so THAAD interceptors so far.. 1500 if very very generous and we assume US has been “hiding its true power”

For Hamas and Hezbollah it was pesky grad rockets and in the border cities of israel

This time it's in central tel Aviv and the casualty toll was never this high

You must admit the nature of these strikes and their frequency is different
Still, in general Israel is quite used to this.

Problem isn't population I'd expect(it will only get angrier at being attacked), problem is international investors and visitors.

Israeli goal is to provoke Iran to go over the nuclear threshold, which is the trip wire that triggers US intervention to finish the job (i.e. regime change). At least that is the Zionist wishful thinking. A war can't be won with airpower or lobbing missiles alone, and the chance of diplomatic resolution has long passed.

CENTCOM's General Kurilla and USD Policy Colby are shadow-boxing over priorities (

) but Trump tweeted last week the terms of Iran's capitulation: no enrichment; no Israel-threatening weapons; and sanctioned-control over petroleum exports. Trump's birthday parade is over. Time to bring this conflict to an end.
We know Trump has to think about midterms. That should factory into any analysis.
