Pentagon estimate would take into account the ISI estimate. The 2000 accounts for those capable of reliably reaching Israel.

Also what's your source that ISI estimate is 8000?

I personally dont know, and source is ex-isi on pakistani tv 5ish hours ago, discussing iran's stockpile.
They have 2000-3000 ready to use rest in 'mountain storage'

I hope they do have enough high enrichment stuff already and all it takes is assembly, otherwise its probably too late

The delay might have been because they were dusting them off.

Let's be real, Iran has a real chance of winning this. Israel already used up all its cards. the Israeli retaliation strike against Iran was weak as fuck. Iran still has a functioning military and is showing no sign of backing down and isn't showing signs that they are scared. Both Russian and Pakistan already came out to support Iran already. Gulf states aren't stupid enough to let US and Western allies to build up their forces like in dessert storm.

Israeli has a lot of important tech and value-added companies, Iran doesn't. Iran hitting their important industries will cause massive gdp loss in Israel and could led to people moving out of israel and make israel go down an economic death spiral

According to Iranian circles the 'Reformists' in iran are still resistant to the idea, they are running interference, they re the 'pro-usa-deal' faction. Plus the assassination and strikes yesterday all took out the 'hard on israel' people sparing ther reformers,
