China demands sensitive information for rare earth exports, companies warn
Under the current rare earths licensing regime, China requires foreign companies to submit comprehensive data about their operations, workforce, end-use applications and production information.
Companies can be also asked to provide images of products, facilities and details of past business relationships
Companies are willing to do whatever China wants to get the supplies

I'm asking myself the same thing. Lmao. I thought by now that about 60%of cars in China will be EVs. However seems the transition will take longer.

About 60% of cars sold this year in China are EVs or plugin hybrids. But less than 60% of the cars in China are EVs, for obvious reasons.
