Why is WhatsApp so popular in Russia when it's feeding data to Meta lol.

It says downloaded so likely new users. This WhatsApp is also popular in Gulf and Israel. Russia has more trouble with Telegram than Whatsapp.

Just fugging frustrating to watch. Can solve semiconductor and Ai but completely lost on how to develop a system to have a semi competent football team.

I can't believe China beat Thailand by a very very narrow margin to get to the next stage only to lose it to Indonesia.

I'm almost angry about it because I feel like the Thai team deserved a chance at the next stage since they actually try to be better while China has made no real progress. I feel like nothing will be learnt again and they will just blame the coach and get a new one who encounters the same problems as before.

One thing that is constant so far is the Chinese National football team will always find ways to embarrass us.

I wonder why it's so hard for China to find a dozen people good at football. Is the sports culture in China significantly different from neighboring countries like Japan and South Korea? They have significantly higher FIFA rankings compared to China and SK and Japan have been qualifying for every world cup since 1986 and 1998.

On the other hand Chinese Women's team seems to be comparatively much better. They have played every world cup since 1991, except for one and have won a silver.
