Well, I guess that simulation did them some good at least
Unlike Rich countries like EU or US, poorer global south countries can setup RE processing on the cheap. The biggest problem is labor cost which allowed China to get the monopoly in the first place.wont those still need to be refined though? also how will it reach Japan, via azerbaijan?
Isn’t this AI? I’m seeing a lot of this kind of stuff on YouTube these days where you see people of notoriety staring into a camera boringly lecturing. There’s another one of a very dull and plain Asian guy with glasses on so many different channels discussing all sorts of things from geopolitics down to how to unclog your pipes with simple household ingredients. “He’s” all over YouTube.Gabbard seems to be talking abt Fauci
Kuwait lifts force majeure, hikes oil output to 2m bpd

There’s one I saw recently where their was some glitch where the video was normal but there was some sound error on the voice and the person on camera actually lip-synced the error making it look like the person broke into an alien language all of the sudden like you see in the movie Disclosure Day.
i doubt it, and it’s not just because all the refining and techniques are in China, it’s also because of economies of scale, it makes sense to send your rare earth ores to China for refining than to do it yourself, otherwise how’re you going to compete on the open market selling your newly refined rare earth and to whom? Will it be as good a quality as that needed for the pentagon? Or ASML?Unlike Rich countries like EU or US, poorer global south countries can setup RE processing on the cheap. Most global south countries are setting up heavy industry to be able to build metals and other components needed to develop their country. RE will come as a by product.
I don't expect China to be able to keep RE monopoly for more than 10 years. atleast 30-40% of production will come from other poorer countries.
Just asking. I think this is a thing now and should be identified as so. If this is from an actual government office and done as some manipulation, people should know.is it? ok, i will delete it.
This is what China should be doing smearing American AI. It’s also Palantir and Anthropic I’ve heard mentioned where Dario Amodei is quoted like an emotionless robot that he feels no responsibility for how people use his products.
I think you are underselling it a bit. I can see some potential traction with lower income countries trying to go down that route.i doubt it, and it’s not just because all the refining and techniques are in China, it’s also because of economies of scale, it makes sense to send your rare earth ores to China for refining than to do it yourself, otherwise how’re you going to compete on the open market selling your newly refined rare earth and to whom?
