As part o the truce deal, China is lifting the export ban on dual use items in the coming 90 days for the 28 American entities that were put on list by China on April 4 and April 9. Permits are still required for export so China can track and likely limit the quantities by entities.

It seems that China and the US are having each other by the balls for now. It also means that both sides have now found out where the relative weaknesses are for themselves and the other side. It is going to be a race for them in the coming months to make up for where it is weak.

China is also lifting the sanctions on 17 American companies that were put on the unreliable entity list on April 4 and April 9. IIUC, these companies are not removed from the list. Only doing business with them will be allowed on case by case permits during the truce.

What would you say is China's weakness or where the US has China "by the balls?" I don't see it in this at all.
