Unless China sold it to Pakistan before the current events. It wouldn’t be a good idea to do such a thing if the situation deteriorates badly. There are significant risks associated with it. If it goes nuclear, then India may be more inclined to launch some nuclear warheads at China over direct involvement. You can guarantee the Americans will be pushing the Indians or Pakistanis into such a scenario. It might solve their China problem after all.

China is pushing for deescalation officially. You can see that in how official spokespeople have been reacting.

I disagree, because china can also take out India in a nuclear exchange. India leadership isn't interested in mutual assured destruction. Neither is USA interested in a hyperinflation for the next 10 years.

Selling hypersonic missile to pakistan will piss off indians for sure, but it would be against the missile export restriction. I believe its limited to less than 300km, and that is pretty much useless, because indian carrier would be parked outside the 300km.

not to mention, china probably don't want the technology leak, because hypersonice anti carrier missile is china's ace card against american carrier. uncle sam will be more than happy to give a few trillion loan to get some samples.

China has atleast 149 EO/ELINT/SAR satellites operated officially by the PLA, accounting in all the civilian constellations that the military could requisite during an emergency. China could have one of the largest space based surveillance network in the world

The ability to turn India into a radioactive crater isn’t the problem. It is the risk of an Indian warhead getting through into an important region. The economic, contamination, and long term medical expenses will be incalculable.

I wouldn’t underestimate the ability of the China Hawks and their Elites willingness to sacrifice the populace to get rid of China and their technological competition. After all, if the global supply chain collapses. They can’t be blamed for it as they didn’t publicly cause it.

This will be important to many observers in here, but the Pakistani military official directly addressed the Indian claim about supposedly having a PL-15 in their possession (that had hit the ground)

Already posted. Credible PLA watchers have already said it's a PL-15
