There are plenty of theories and speculation everywhere and we have one here. The video is from a few days ago, to fully get the point you will have to watch it.

But here is a basic gist, this Tom Luongo, suggests the real purpose of the tariffs is to find the hidden enemy/ies of the US, in this case the EU and China is just a side project.

So yea we have speculations about anything and everything, from Trump be the God Emperor playing 4D Chess to him being an intellectually damaged idiot that doesn’t know how to play hungry-hungry-hippo.

I think everything is starting to paint a coherent picture now.

The liberation tariff plan seemingly drawn up by some intern + GPT

Countries like Vietnam tries to negotiate and got turned back, incoherent demands were made as if the white house doesn't know what they really want

It shows the Trump regime actually cannot mobilize the professional bureaucrats (deep state if you will) to draw up their tariff plan and they have to wing it somehow. Even among the Trump clique there're disagreements over the goals of the tariff and Trump himself is still indecisive as to who to listen to.... it really is amateur hour over there

I think their situation is worst than that and although I know amateur hour is common phrasing, that’s frankly an insult to amateurs.

Calling them amateurs suggests they know what they are doing but are just incompetent or inept in the execution of the plan. However, from all that we have heard, officially and speculatively, about these tariffs and related negotiations, they literally don’t know what they are doing, therefore worst than even amateurs.

I suggest after this whole ridiculous scenario is over a new term or phrase be created and introduced into the English language and other languages for that matter, to immortalise this stupidity.

The fact that there is still 44 percent approval rate shows that MAGA will support him even when he burns everything to the fucking ground.
