They won't even bother getting more LPDs. The last time the Philippines invaded Malaysia's Sabah in 2013, they sent a dozen men or so on motorboats. They slipped past the absent Malaysian coast guard and navy.
So I'm betting that if both wanted to do amphibious assaults, the bulk of it would be on top of motor boats, sampans, and fishing boats. It'll never look anything close to a "Normandy Assault". Rather, it'll look more like modern pirates landing on beaches.

Many of the Tibetans in India are not necessarily activists. Many were born into the poverty and discrimination in India. These are not decent living standards compared to their compatriots in Xizang.
However those professional activists are mostly descended from serf-owners. Their families already have plenty of beef with China. They will find more common grounds with the Indian caste system than rule of law in Xizang.
