REEV in drone propulsion. high voltage, compact system are the basis for highly efficient and long range VTOL drone in the future.

How is this related to the range extention. Is it a motor/generator or simply a electric motor? 50 kg for ~200 kw of power is too high.

this is part of a platform that would also use batteries. You can't maximize efficiency gains without good sized battery to balance out power consumption vs demand.

Titanium alloy edge part for what I assume to be composite fan blades. It was displayed by a machine tool maker.

The specs for the titanium edge are as follows:
– Dimensions: 145mm x 147mm x 640mm
– Weight: 1kg
– Titanium alloy: TC4
– Time to fabricate: 50h

Actually LOL-ed at that "No Photo" sign at the bottom right of the display cabinet.

Do we have by any means a reliable comparison of both the original D-30KP-2 vs the "improved" Chinese WS-18?

And even more any credible information if the Y-20As and H-6N are still using the original engine or the new one and if both are identifiable?

You mean from the appearance of the aircraft?

In fact on everything!

Most of all I'm looking for these three answers:

1. We often hear only it contains certain improvements, new material, maybe FADEC and new manufacturing techniques so that it is in principle "an improved indigenous" variant, but these are at best vague claims and nothing concrete ... so is this true and are there reports on what was indeed improved in which way?

2. is there any external difference or detail noticeable to differ between a D-30KP-2 & a WS-18?

3. Do we have any proof (at best) that PLAAF Y-20As and H-6N are powered by WS-18 or are they still using the original engine?
