They need to pay late processing fees for Motor Sich, all the money that it would have made during the ridiculous delays fronted by the Zelensky regime.

China can actually realistically take good care of Ukraine's mineral reserves, since US doesn't really have the tech. I think China should have a fair share for saving Zelensky, not anything oppressive to Ukraine. The profits should be partially invested in rebuilding Ukraine.

Now that Zelensky won't be welcome in the west, Russia will probably put him on trial (even if Russia isn't directly hostile to him) and Azov will just hang him, only Beijing can save Zelensky personally.

Better for Beijing to leave Zelensky to his fate. He had dug his own grave by going all-in with the West, he toyed with the Taiwan question, and had even boasted about contributing troops to fight against China. Zelensky should be treated like how Modi is treated, a pariah with no principles.

Zelensky is Russia's business. Let Putin do what he wants with him. Russian trust is far more important than any empty promises this rat could give.
