Ukrainians destroyed all the Lenin statues in the country, even though Lenin basically created modern Ukraine. Those idiots deserve everything that happened to Ukraine.
Between US and Ukraine, I favour the US side more. USA is a brutal superpower, not a charity. What did they think would happen after they signed a deal with the devil? Did they really think the death of their soldiers meant that capitalists would miss out on an opportunity to profit from Ukraine's demise? Americans extort money from everyone, Ukraine shouldn't think they are somehow special.
This is a very painful chapter of human history to those Chinese who are student of their long history. Thanks to Emperor Qing and succeeding emperors after him, the written Chinese history was inherited and added dynasty after dynasty. One result of such undisrupted written history is that, young students of the time were always informed and enlightened. Therefore, I dare to say that Chinese are the hardest bunch on this planet to be brainwashed.
At the end of the day, joke aside, I would not blame those displaced Ukrainians. Yes that was their country and yes they voted in that clown. But it is somewhat like blaming a third-grader for not taking charge of their own education. Governance is a thousand-year old venture and undertaking. While democracy sounds noble, it has its inherent underlining assumptions which must be met before it works its own magic. Unfortunately, vast majority of countries in this world don't meet those prerequisites. So at the end of the day, people just claim that they have a democracy and therefore they are winners, regardless of quality of their living on the ground. The saddest part is that there are not many humans you can argue with on this subject, because they were all newbies when they "gained" democracy and they did not have any form of independent governance before that.
I think this is one of the very few fundamental aspects of human society for which the west fears or hates China the most, because this is something the Chinese inherently have but those west overlords never possess.
