He says there could be multiple ways China could contribute in the peace negotiations.

Could be in collective security guarantees to Ukraine (or Russia..).

Participate in peacekeeping operation (station peacekeeping troops I guess) he says that Russia for sure wouldn't accept NATO or European peacekeepers, but global south India or China could be acceptable

Could participate in post-war reconstruction of Ukraine


Finally he answers a question why China builds up it's nuclear arsenal. He says that NATO hasn't sent soldiers to fight Russia in Ukraine, but US is not afraid on not fighting China. Doesn't that mean that US is simply afraid of Russia's nukes and not of China's because of low number of nukes. Very clear answer

It's Colonel Zhou Bo has been a constant in these types of security led events where he's often the lead Chinese representative to be asked about China's military and security matters. He's also the one who had a verbal spat with a chihuahua from the banana Republic of the PH calling China a barbaric state or words to that effect. Colonel Zhou perfectly placed that limp dick sniveling banana Pinoy in their place.

He (Zhou) also wrote an OP-ED piece at the NYT regarding the Russia-Ukraine War and where China stood and stands on that important Eurasian issue.

Russia was strong enough to hold on to Donbass, I could understand the grievance there. I was cheerleading when they snatched Crimea as well but that's where it should have stopped. Trying to invade the entire Ukraine was overdose. Keep the Donbass and Crimea and freeze the conflict, flare things up a little when Ukraine and NATO start trying some funny business.

You guys need some arabic soft power to calm yourselves down. They control Russia, Japan and South Korea you know...

Trump wants ceasefire in Ukraine by Easter, Bloomberg reports​

U.S. President Donald Trump wants to secure a ceasefire in Russia's war against Ukraine by Easter, Bloomberg reported on Feb. 16, citing unnamed officials.

Trump has previously promised to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. Since his victory in the U.S. presidential election, that timeline has been revised.

The U.S administration has told European officials that it hopes to achieve a ceasefire agreement by Easter, which falls on April 20, Bloomberg reported.

Trump's plan for a quick resolution to end Russia's war against Ukraine is ambitious and "potentially unrealistic," an unnamed source said.

It is more likely Trump will be able to obtain a ceasefire in Ukraine by the end of the year and not by Easter, one person said.

Over the past week, the U.S. has made several moves to advance its Russia-Ukraine agenda — some of which have alarmed European and Ukrainian officials.

Trump spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin in a phone call on Feb. 12, holding a separate phone call with President Volodymyr Zelensky later the same day.

"We have no doubt that the threat to Europe is Vladimir Putin's Russia, Trump's phone call to Putin was a mistake," Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said at the Munich Security Conference on Feb. 15.

U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, shocked European leaders on Feb. 15 when he said Europe won't be directly involved in peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

France plans to host an emergency summit on Feb. 17 for European leaders to discuss strategies toward Russia and Ukraine amid fears that the U.S. will shut the EU out of the negotiations process.

No, Europe isn’t Chinas problem, what I meant was, China can extract whatever benefits that the nation can provide China once the USA is out of the way (and provide an equivalent exchange as well) but if Europe cannot see reason, well nothing of value is lost and ultimately, China will all the better for it. If they blindly follow the USA to hell, the primary benefactors will be both China and Russia since really, what is the point of trading with a bunch of stupid backstabbers anyway

I wonder why Trump dislikes Modi so much?

A lot of Indians were simping for Trump but he doesn't seem to like Modi and gave him shitty deals. Meanwhile Trump is supposed to be enemies with Xi but at least gives him props.

My guess is Trump really dislikes Sycophants being in New York real estate and dealing with tough personalities. He knows what kind of person Modi really is. After all Modi is from Gujarat which is the slimey merchant zone. It takes one to know one.

It hasn't been a month since Trump's inauguration and Modi basically forces himself on Trump to beg,simper,whine and ass kiss-Trump doesn't respect that at all as power recognizes power ,strength recognizes strength,competence speaks for itself.Modi and india is NONE of that and last 2 months of China's "flexing muscles hard" has shown not only its strength/progress but india's claims of national industrial strength(that can replace China!!)/STEM geniuses/superpowerdom to be all hollow.
