100% agree with Paul Craig Robert's assessments.
points from his interview:

#1 Syria is dead & will be devided.

#2 various Syrian military leaderships were bought off by the CIA.

#3 Syria could have easily been saved if Putin wasn't fooled by Erdogan through the Astana agreements.

#4 Russia spent 9 years in which they successfuly saved Syria when it's military was at it's weakest only to through all that effort out the window at the very end.

#5 the world has seen that Russia is an unreliable ally that can't protect anyone.

#6 Russian intelligence failed to predict the Maidan coup in Ukraine and they failed to find out about the Military leaderships in Syria that were being bought off by the CIA. Russian intelligence is either incompetent or Russia has no intelligence.

#7 China is determined not to get involved in anything in the region

#8 BRICS will die.

#9 Saudi Arabia has seen the consequences of siding with BRICS and will re dollarize and pivot back towards the US from China and Russia.

#10 Iran has likely lost all trust in Russia. the pro west liberals in Iran will be strengthened and will urge the leadership to pivot towards west and distance themselves from Russia and China to save Iran. and the first step will be to renegotiate the nuclear deal once Trump is in office.

I click it and in first three minutes he showed himself a clueless buffoon by stating Saudi Arabia was moving in direction of Iran and Russia. It is Iran and Russia that need to move in Saudi direction not vice versa. may be he didnot read and understand that MBS longest FoxNews interview.
MBS essentially saying that Saudi have long battle with Iranians since 1979 and he took GDP from late 70s as starting point for comparison with South Korea and Saudis couldnot keep with South Korea. He mention he does not want these battles from 1970s with Iran to continue. now he publicly mention improving relations with Iran the Soft Power approach but it does not mean the Hard Power is abandoned. that others can do it for him. but he will not say in public.
regarding Putin i think he is disappointed that Putin is not solving problem of Israel or Jews in general and called him for stupid peace deals. what if Putin want prolong war in Ukraine not just to test weopons but to change and redistribute Russia population. Putin talks often about demographics and his mind is set on particular religion/culture to be an ideal to emulate.

Thats how I realize China is probably the only country that is self assured about its plans for the future. It believes in itself and that it will be able to beat the west through careful planning and tenacity. Meanwhile you have all these other global south countries just clinging onto China hoping it will act like Superman and do all the heavy lifting for them. That's just putting more pressure and burden on China when China itself doesn't go far to hyping such stuff. It is detrimental to the cause. And many of these global south countries despite all their yapping will not put their money where it is at and still buy overpriced crap from those "westoids" instead of China. When their elites need to flee, they go to London first instead of Shanghai or Beijing. At least those idiots in China are finally beginning to wake up and buy domestically but since they don't open their mouths so much, they don't place so much self burden on themselves.

The key to American alliances is make sure only other rich guys who don't cause trouble can join in. For everyone else they just do what Uncle Sam says or Uncle Sam will get out the stick and whack them until they say yes since he doesn't take no for a answer.

South Vietnam doesn't exist anymore, Philippines went from richest country in Asia to one of the poorest, Afghanistan is now back under the old management, Egypt is one of the poorest countries in the Middle East and Pakistan has basically been poor and wartorn since its creation.

MNNA isn't some empty promise either, they are allowed to buy US grade ammo, access to the US space program, access to military surplus, etc. It is a pretty big deal.

They just have rich friends too, to balance it out.

I want to see protests outside every US embassy and consulate until this political activist is freed from arbitrary detention. Acts of peaceful protest against the criminal oligarch regime like his should win Nobel prizes not be persecuted.

Edit: He was a highly educated scholar, another instance of the regime's pattern of crackdowns on dissidents from the intelligentsia and rounding them up on flimsy charges.
