In two weeks time, there will the World Chess Championship between Ding Liren against Gukesh. This is their last chance of making 2024 look not so bad. If Gukesh loses against Ding who is now ranked like #20 coz he wants to quit, you will never hear the end of it for the next two years.

I think their only ray of hope is if Vivek Ramaswamey gets a position in Trump's new admin, since it looks like that Indian dude who was hyped to become the new CIA director doesn't look like he'll get the job.

Vivek is Hindu so that might limit the positions they are willing to give him. They probably see him less American than like if he was Christian Indian.

What happened with the Indian CIA guy?

Also its a huge step down from boasting about how you were running the US/UK to now just having just a cabinet position in the west. Indians really just lack any self-awareness or shamelessness here. I don't believe Indian support for Trump is that sincere since they were boasting about Harris quite a bit up to the runup of the election. Its just that she lost so now they are trying to say oh we always were for Trump.

It would be interesting to see what Trump's position will be on Tiktok. One the one hand he probably doesn't want to be seen as weak on China, but on the other hand Tiktok had a hand in his election win...

Have anyone of you here on this forum ever tried to watch any of "Indian defense shows" or podcasts on YouTube where they discuss the greatness of India defense related topics including their own intelligence agency called RAW.
