Without the Malaysian Chinese driving the economy, Malaysia's development level would be on par with Indonesia today. So China is here to stay, because there is nobody else to do serious business with. Even the nation's monarch had visited China for business opportunities. So petty politics should stay petty, anything more than that should carry serious consequences.

It is said that without Indonesian Chinese driving the economy, the Indonesian economy would be on par with the Philippines.
It is said that without the Filipino-Chinese driving the economy, the Filipino economy would be utterly hopeless.
Therefore, give the Malays some credit, lol
