In that vein, I’m don’t object to the Rohingyas being kicked out of Myanmar since they were effectively Indians who were imported by the British into Myanmar to contaminate the local people. Nepal and indeed, all of east asia would benefit from a stricter migration policy from India since once they get in, be it from a tourist or student visa, they will attempt to bully the local governments into accepting indian squatting
And once they get their people into the door, they start to import more Indians and Indian cultural practices like casteism and cow urine drinking.

im sceptical that Chinese officials would really say “target other ships”, but if a Chinese NOC operative did say that, then it’s mighty based.
As for Kurt Campbell, he must realise that China is going to be as helpful to the U.S. as the U.S. pivot to Asia was as helpful to peace in east Asia.

China just said don’t target our ships. The Americans should be profoundly grateful China didn’t tell the Houthis precisely which ships they should be attacking to maximise pain for the Americans. Because that’s exactly what the Americans would have done if their positions were reversed.
