The shooter missed because Trump turned his head slightly right at the exact same moment when he fired. Trump moves his hand towards his ear before the 2nd shot was fired. So it suggests that the 1st shot hit Trump, which the bullet pierced through his upper right ear. His brains would have been splattered across the stage if that didn’t happened. Trump would probably be dead had the shooter went for a chest shot instead.

That is not exactly true. The shirt is from "Demolition Ranch", a channel that exclusively focuses on blowing things up, so the shooter could be a liberal gun owner (yes, they exist. Check out the liberalgunowners subreddit) who believes Trump is the greatest threat to their ideology.

The shooter is already confirmed to be a registered republican. The guy running Demo Ranch is a right winger, gun advocate and regularly promotes the police and other right wing politicians and the guy buying his merch is a right wing guy. I know plenty of liberal gun owners exist in the US, but this guy fits a profile is all I was implying. And correctly as it turned out.

Photos of the body of a possible shooter on a roof near the Trump rally appear to show the person wearing merchandise promoting one of YouTube's most popular channels devoted to firearms.

The photos, verified by NBC News, show a person lying on a roof bleeding from the head, surrounded by law enforcement officers. The bleeding person is wearing a gray T-shirt with an American flag on the sleeve with block lettering that is partly obscured.

The appearance and lettering of the shirt match the appearance of a shirt that is still for sale on the website for the firearms YouTube channel Demolition Ranch.
