this is not 2001. Technology has developed much further. Both US and Arabs have access to enough places in the world that can drive down cost of energy. IF Arabs does not want this pipeline cannot happen.

yeah sure US spent every thing just to rescue a failing firm. how come Arab increased there own Soft Power and built Arabic economic system which no one can replicate right under NATO nose. without Arab support even Iran and rest of Central Asia would not have open trade with Afghans. Chinese are even ahead of Arabs in recognizing them.
