the CPV system is a little different.
Instead of a PBSC and "3 titles in 1 person", they just have a permanent Politburo and "2 titles in 1 person". President is always #2, Premier is always #3, Chairman of National Assembly is always #4. Then rank 5-16 is kind of in flux depending on power jockeying.
SecGen is also CMC chair but not president, like in China. In Vietnam the president is more like the premier, and the premier is more like the 1st ranked vice premier in terms of power.

If the EU really do care about this Red Sea issue, I find it strange that they don’t seem very active in its defense, other then blame shifting and relying on the US and UK for heavy lifting. Things have truly changed in the world but to be fair, since when is Estonia capable of much beyond name calling and show boating

The whole autocracy vs democracy narrative is a lie. The US had slaves while being a democracy… What we’re seeing from the West whining about China is the West seeing the end of white supremacy…brought to you by China. What irks the West is they don’t have a legitimate reason to stop the Chinese. China is beating the West legitimately. China didn’t do it through aggression. It’s like how former Vice President Dick Cheney was provoking China to act aggressively so then the US could militarily attack China because he believed the US would win. He couldn’t do that without a good excuse for attacking China that would be seen as legitimate in the eyes of the world or else they can’t escape from the imperialist monster monkey on their back they’re trying to avoid the world from seeing. The West still faces that dilemma today because ultimately they can get nuked if they give someone an excuse.
China is destroying the Western world order as accused by the West. Who said that’s a crime? There is nothing that says the West always deserves to be in control of the world. China is doing it by beating the West at their own game. That’s what frustrates them. Oh they want to violate human rights but they know they can’t or else they lose any legitimacy they have built in this world trying to convince everyone they aren’t the monsters they were before.
