I think this is a petty incident where a company was filming something for Chinese New Year or what ever but there was a pianist already there so they waited but the painist decided to stay there for a long ass time so they asked if they could use the space but it turned into a shitshow. That is what I could gather from the info on twitter.

You aren't too off. Operationally, China is probably the center of Tesla. The Shanghai plant is actually Tesla's most important. It is #1 in output and was building the new models before the American ones, so it is actually where they perfect their new processes. It is said that Tom Zhu is basically the #2 guy. However, the financial centre is still USA.
Is "Economic railgun" a thing? The economy could use it right now.
