Find it kinda unlikely that California would be allied with Texas. Maybe they will go on their own, or form an alliance/federation with the other Pacific States that might secede (namely Oregon and Washington).

In the meanwhile, didn't realize that the gulf between the state government of Texas and the federal government at DC can run that deep. Damn.
