They probably raised oil prices and supply costs even more with that, and they should worry about inflation, not low-inflation China for example.

Also, I doubt they got much Houthi hardware, as Houthis have been bombed for nearly 10 years already from the same positions with the same equipment, even in the same places that the US hit, so if they didn't manage to hide their hardware better, they are idiots.

US GDP would be alot larger if all those things and people associated with it are imported into US.

China is the top trader/exporter with US, much higher than India. Why don't you count China's GDP into US as well? That would certainly make US "United States of Earth".

Alot of things in Mexico and India are exclusively for US market. even Japanese automobile made in Mexico for North American market not fit for Japanese market and almost 90% of Mexico trade is due to US and the same with services like tourism. There is very free flow of labor and capital between these countries. India software industry is basically US. when scale becomes bigger than better count it as US GDP. China US trade is much smaller impact on US relative to GDP.

what USSR achieved it built its own airline industry and was energy independent across the block. Aeroflot became world largest airline even though alot people not capable traveling outside. what USSR provided to countries like West Germany, Spain and Netherlands to be alot more independent from US.

I would add Canada also to US when practically every thing from weopons to energy of Canada are all about US. I dont think China has this kind of arrangement with any country.

"GDP" is how much is produced. "Trade" (= "Export" + "Import") is how the produced goods and services are distributed. You are so confused.

I can see the invisible hand of market is working as it should.

It would be hilarious but depressingly plausible that the USN actually does blockade the Red Sea and prevent Chinese flagged and Chinese crewed ships from transiting ‘for their own protection’ just because they cannot protect their own and allied shipping from Houthi attacks.
