Not drop. Launched from the UAV. Need an UAV that can carry heavy payload. Since these missiles are heavy, Carry one hypersonic or YJ18 is enough.
I found this useful since it doesn't put 055, bomber or fighter jet at risk. They can be acted as first line of offense.

Tbf a UAV with a grenade is infinitely more useful than a robot dog, despite them being much hyped for whatever reason, I can't see what this thing can do that a FPV with a explosive payload won't.

Dog can walk into buildings, under a roof, or into forests with dense canopies.

Doesn't have to be a dog specifically. A miniature tank can also work.

This is all previously shared, but UAVs are far more capable than a robotic dog in both maneuverability and cost.

Those FPV UAVs come in at <$500. The cheapest somewhat capable robot dog (Unitree go) goes for something like $2K.
Both would probably take just a single bullet/shrapnel to disable, but a FPV is infinitely harder to hit.

It's not really a matter of tech maturing either, a lidar equipped robotic dog will NEVER be cheaper than a grenade strapped FPV guided by a radio controller.

A robot dog/vehicle can, however, keep a low profile and stand stationary, unlike a drone. Look at how noisy those drones are. Even in a forest, the noise alone will give it away. A dog can just stand still without making a noise. The dog cannot throw grenades but it may be able to drop mines or act as a suicide IED. A dog/vehicle with props can imitate a bush/rubble and stand still for hours.

I don't see why an existing grenade launcher could not be placed onto a robotic dog, based off of the weight of an LMG or assault rifle you currently see on them.

Can they combine drone and dog together or would that be too bulky and suboptimal for each task.
