From following this thread, I don't think there's been any strong indications.

I personally think a smaller batch of 4 ships makes the most sense.

Type 055 CG is a true blue water heavy warship and I mean heavy warship

its very valuable to PLAN and I dont doubt more advanced units will be coming soon

There is one at Jiangnan and potentially (though only suggested from one picture so far) one also at Dalian Dagushan.

Yes, there's another one being built at Dalian, but in another drydock.

2 shipyard construction signals a batch bigger than 4 to me. 4 could be done at a single shipyard
