I have been mostly reading Chinese and Korean comics for quite some time. The Japanese at A-1 Pictures are supposed to be going to make an anime of the Korean comic "Solo Leveling" next year in Q1 2024. The story is not the best but the drawing style was excelent. Hopefully they won't butcher it in the anime version. Other Korean comics I read include "Kill the Hero", "Overgeared".

I still read the occasional Japanese comic like "Goblin Slayer". The anime version of that is kinda average though. "Reincarnated As An Aristocrat With An Appraisal Skill" is also ok I think.

The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPCSC) will convene for an emergency session today for, among other reasons, dealing with unspecified personnel matters

Might get some news on the Foreign Minister (removal, recommending new candidate for FM etc)

Note that the NPCSC dealing with personnel matters is not something unusual, but if something happened to the Foreign Minister, tomorrow would be an ideal time and place to deal with that officially

Can you give a link please and continue the possible new FM discussion in the Chinese Internal Politics

Israeli lawmakers on Monday approved controversial changes to the judiciary, part of a package of proposed actions that's roiled the country in protests in recent months and sparked opposition from broad swaths of Israeli society.

The vote in the Knesset, Israel's parliament, capped a monthslong campaign by Israel's far-right government to weaken the judiciary, a move critics say pushes the country toward authoritarianism.

The measure passed uncontested after opposition lawmakers shouted "Shame!" at their colleagues before walking out in protest. Ahead of the vote, lawmakers were unable to reach a compromise with the political opposition.
