Hou Yu-ih, KMT's Presidential candidate, does not inspire much confidence. He recently backtracked on his promise to keep the compulsory military service at 4 months and stated he would push for U.S. arms deliveries if elected. Unlike Hou Yu-ih who seems afraid of saying anything that could be interpreted as pro-China, Terry Gou has been outspoken about his wish to bring cross-strait relations to the pre-DPP state and he is doing much better in polls that Hou Yu-ih.
Ko Wen-je, TPP's candidate, has been also saying some pretty outlandish stuff recently. Lai is obviously the worst choice but the other two only seem marginally better.

Did Mao based his communisim on chinese philisphy rather than Marxism. And yeah the Cultural Revolution was bad but it's leagues better than the westernization of HK and Taiwan. Because Mao isn't a cuck who wants to bow to the superpowers (USSR and USA)
