Further proof of the existence of said order: there's a documentary from bangladesh ministry of defence about its armed force to celebrate their armed forces day last year.
Take a look at timestamp of 11:20.

According to the Bangladesh Army, VT 5 was chosen because of its superior armor and additional weapons in the form of automatic grenade launchers that were operated remotely.

In total there will be 44 units of tanks that will be purchased by the Bangladesh Army to replace the Type 69 light tanks which will soon be retired.

idk about strongest evidence from that, seems like most people here are avoiding the use of these news/blog sites like the one you put here. Either way, a lot of buzz regarding it, but kinda weird that there's no insider info from the chinese side like typically we see from navy or airforce. Maybe it's just because that there's no as much interest as the other two in the army stuffs

How would it perform in urban warfare settings, with narrow streets and tall buildings?

If it is configured in such a way with APS, ERA blocks on front and side of the hull, equipped with the 35mm AGL, and has the CITV, I would imagine it would perform very impressively.

Not to mention that in an urban environment mbt's would operate in support of infantry moving up 100m in advance and secondary infantry units securing flanks and snipers aiming down from the rooftops and artillery on call ... all armies (even the Russians) have reread the red armies handbook from the 1944's after the Chechnya disaster!!

Except the Syrians, during the early phases of the civil war. They had to relearn those lessons the hard way
