Having a senior moment are we? LOL It's ok. I get my fair share of it. But we all know this isn't a fashion show. The deaths from being on the receiving end of these weapons doesn't make it any less tragic than from an original one.

The Z-20 is an indigenized/reverse engineered/copied S70/UH-60. Of this there can be absolutely no doubt at all. Just like Su-27 -> J-11B, Klub -> YJ-18, etc.
That said, there is no law of the universe which says the Z-20 cannot be better than its ancestor, so asif is surely smoking something good.

A number of things. Helicopter crews need to see what is going on below the vehicle to ensure a clean landing. Sometimes they also need to watch cargo that is slung under it.

To untrained eyes they won't be able to tell the difference, but not everybody are that "untrained".
Until the Z-20 mounted with gatling guns on both sides (they actually made those now, haven't seen them mounted on helicopters, though), refueling probe stick out to the front, IR suppression exhausts, use low-vis insignia and matt paint job (semi-gloss is what they using now), you can always tell which is UH-60 and Z-20 by looking at the
- number of rotor blades
- number of cockpit windows
- distinctive difference in hull shape
- fairing at the rear gear
