Z-20KS from yesterday's CCTV7. Posted by @Oneninety on Weibo.

@洋务先驱张之洞 on Weibo said that this particular Z-20 variant (for the PLAAF) has a foldable tail section, which enables easier transportation on airlifters (Y-9 and Y-20). This feature can also be found on the UH-60.

The following CG models made by Big Bun CG on Weibo illustrated how such mechanisms work for this Z-20 variant.

The landing gear is located at the end of the tail, so I don't think this one has foldable tail

This is a PLANAF Z-20F ASW variant. Foldable tail and main rotors for shipborne operations.

The schedule posted by ACuriousPLAFan lists the PLANAF Z-20F not Z-20J, Z-8 and J-15. Typo or schedule change to keep us waiting longer for ASW variant?

Zhuhai 24 - Z-20F.jpg

Deino's post with airshow layout includes PLAN area with two helicopters and a fighter. We've seen the Z-20J and Z-8C pics above, so they are the two aircraft in the layout diagram. Presumably then no third Z-20F helicopter.

Looks like three Z-20J in the pics above. Number 37 (H5073137) and 47 (presumably H5073147). However, the Scramble database lists four Z-20J serials: 6211, 6212, 6213 and 6215. Any thoughts on how the serial numbers align?

Those listed by Scramble with 621x numbers are the prototypes … the no. 37 is clearly a production / operational one.
