Isn't the Z-19 tandem seat? Maybe it's something new ahead.

If you look carefully, both cockpit seems to be repeated same... It just showing 2 simulator in tandem position.

I mean as a demo for the public. I dont think placing 2 seats in straight position is good for camera view plus the generals..

Yeah that crossed my mind and it's most likely but you'd figure even in a display they should configure it like the real thing.

Those are all army personnel, the rig looks like for instrument operation training and the panel doesn't look like Z-8/9 (the rig looks like 2 separate set, but all current units using 1-piece through instrument panel both pilot shares), so things do lean in the way to the new attack helicopters like WZ-10 and Z-19.

But that leaves the problem with that HUD at the left station...it doesn't look like either WZ-10 or Z-19 have accommodation for a overhanging HUD...and attack helicopters throw away stationary HUD for helmet mounted display, and China have displayed, a few years back, capable to produce helmet mounted display...

Left panel could be the "Pilot" Station well the Right side is the gunner. Pilots are less likely too need the Helmet mounted Cueing as they only need too move the ship well the gunner needs too target.

Nice helos, hopefully we will see soon a medium lift helo in PLA service they need them, something in the range of the Blackhawk or AW149

I have no idea why Turkey bought additional S-70 Blackhawks worth $3.5 billion!! when Agustawestland was offering co-production of the AW149 which would have meant Turkey would have property rights and technology transfer, with design and manufacturing autonomy so they could sell to rich middleastern countrys is well or to any other 3rd party countrys, with T-70 they cant do that

sometimes military sales are not requirment influenced by political

Nice video of the Z-19. Another one shows up then a Z-9, then I think a Hip, then a S-70 shows up. The cherry on top would've been a WZ-10.

The Z-19 would look way cooler with a chain gun.

If you are close enough to the enemy to use your cannon, they can use theirs right back at you.

The Z19 is a light scout helo, and I very much doubt it has the armor to even withstand sustained HMG attack. Typically, the Z19 will be staying well outside of 20 or 30mm range, and will be carrying HJ8/9s or MLR pods for the odd target of opportunity that presents itself, but it is not an attack helo and would be punished if used as such.

A heavy chain gun isn't a good idea for a light and fast scout helicopter. Perhaps some form of removable gun pod like those available for the Mi24 and Ka50/52 would suffice. The Gazelle, Kiowa and Scout have proven successful in combat without a gun and the German version of the Tiger doesn't have one fitted as standard.
