They made up so many different stuffs about China such as Mao killed 30 million people during his reign, Hu dynasty killed more people than ever before, China insulted India in 1962 not the otherway around, China suffered 200000 casualty in the Sino-Vietnam war and didn't gain a single square inch of land. They are constantly provoking internal conflict for China(Free Tibet, Free Xinjiang, Free Inner Mongolia, Free Manchuria, Free Taiwan, Free Canton) trying to split China. no, i dont hate Mao. Mao ze dong is my idol as to almost every other Chinese. Very, true. Westerns look on a comunist by asuming what they do. quite stubern if you ask me. For the cultural rev. we all know it was a good plan that went horribaly wrong (because of idiots like si ren ban). but westerners look at it diferently AS IF Mao was the next hitler (crap). oops! sorry Gollevainen. OK back to the topic. China and japan were fighting long before WWII officially started. China is considered one of the crucial countries in the war, maybe not one of the super powers, but a important part. mao led his army to battle the Japanese and they did more damage than KMT forces, which is why the japanese are constintly looking for where the comunist soilders are hiding. So I guess you can say Mao was the real threat to the japanese. KMT sufured from poor morale so their soilders were unwilling to fight but Mao was loved by his comrades and that fueled morale so they were willing to risk their lives for China, willing to fight to the last breath.
