I don't generally post photos of the police in the US ..but in this case I'll make an exception.

For those of you that don't know all local, city , county, state police forces are autonomous.

Mechanizovaného Praporu (71st mechanized battalion) Part of the Czech 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade and is training for deployment to Afghanistan as part of the Czech combat maneuver element. The CME is preparing for their mission in Afghanistan by focused training on basic activities for dealing with a combat situation - the decision-making process for commanders, performance of operational tasks, combat orders and responding to improvised explosive systems. 3rd December 2012

KHOWST PROVINCE, Afghanistan – Soldiers from the Afghan National Army, 1st Brigade, 203rd Corps, effectively fire their 82mm mortar system during a live-fire exercise that marked the conclusion of a two-week mortarmen course at the Fires Center of Excellence, Camp Parsa, Afghanistan, Jan. 3, 2013. Once they have completed the required training, the trainees must exhibit their abilities to successfully employ and utilize their weapon system. The FCOE, a school developed and mentored by Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), is designed to teach sustainable practices and methods that will allow the ANA to engage the enemy effectively with improved capabilities. the carbines used though out these pics are the new Bren Cz 805 a 5.56 mm Nato spec carbine that like a lot of new carbines is modular and built for changing caliber form Nato 556 too Warsaw pact 762x39 too US 6.8 SPCII If has a folding stock rail system, Shorter or longer barrels and a companion 40x46mm Nato grenade launcher.
