MAJGEN John Cantwell, AO, Commander of Joint Task Force 633 took time to visit with Australian Service personnel based in the Chora and Baluchi valleys in Oruzgan province. MAJGEN Cantwell spent several days with front line soldiers at patrol bases Buman, Qudus and Mirawais. It was an opportunity for him to speak with the soldiers about their current work and the progress they were making in the communities they were working with in the region.
