Few regimes in the World can show such high disapproval ratings. Of course it only survives because of foreign support and when an American can be made finance minister a US trained Georgian might well hope to be made prime minister.

I heard about this some weeks ago, I think on BBC. It was said if you take a small amount of liquid nitrogen it will evaporate before you can swallow it and you don't get frostbite. I wouldn't try it out but that seems reasonable. Evaporation energy of nitrogen, or I think any other stuff, is much less than that of water.

The advice is to wait for 10 seconds for the liquid to turn to gas.

18th yr olds don't think. Myself and likely million others are just lucky we made it past 21 relatively unscathed. Darwin could only cast nets a certain size.

Yeah but even back than you can still sense the danger, by seeing why isn't everyone else doing it instead of just me?;)

That's possibly what a "smart" guy/gal, who may ace his/her science in college, would think and proceed to do exactly what the poor girl did while thinking the net of natural selection won't be cast at a person as "smart" as him. o_O

Guys SD IS NOT A POLITCAL OR RELIGIOUS FORUM.

Cease the political and religious attacks, prognosis, OpEds, etc.

Just because this is a "What the Heck," thread does not mean that SD Rules cease and are somehow not applicable here.

This means on all sides of the ideological/political divide.

There are hundreds...no, thousands...of forums and sites on the internet where you can espouse and argue those issues to your heart's content.

SD Is not meant to be one of them.

I am going through and deleting those posts here...and I bet there are going to be a lot of them.

If after so doing it raises its head again, the thread will simply be closed.
