Didn't China crack down on this a while back?

There were rumors that censor told Hunan TV to tone down the excessive cleavage shown in Empress of China. While Tang dynasty women did wear low cut dress, traditional inner garment strap down the breasts rather than push them up for eye candy. Then there is the crackdown on cosplayers showing too much cleavage during anime conventions.
This is different though. They are professional models selling bras.

The sixth man to walk on the Moon says that pacifist alien visitors tried to create world peace by disabling missiles during Cold War weapons tests. Edgar Mitchell, who walked on the Moon during the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, told Mirror Online in a recent interview that he believes the UFOs reported around military bases during the Cold War were on a mission to prevent a nuclear war between the U.S. and the Soviet Union.

“My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth,” he told

in a recent interview.

He added, “I have spoken to many Air Force officers who worked at these silos during the Cold War. They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles. Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their [test]missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft. There was a lot of activity in those days.”

Mitchell has been an outspoken believer in extraterrestrial visitors to Earth since his return from the Moon in 1971. He grew up in New Mexico, not far from Roswell or the White Sands Missile Range, where the first nuclear bombs were tested.

“White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons - and that’s what the extraterrestrials were interested in. They wanted to know about our military capabilities,” said Mitchell.

Apollo 14 astronaut claims peace-loving aliens prevented 'nuclear war' on Earth

From “The Day the Earth Stood Still” to “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” to “E.T.,” pop culture is filled with stories about friendly, curious extraterrestrials visiting Earth to learn more about mankind. For Apollo 14 veteran Edgar Mitchell that plotline is less fiction than it is reality. The sixth man to walk the surface of the moon

that he believes peace-keeping aliens visited our planet to prevent a nuclear war between Russia and the United States.

The idea sounds far-fetched, but Mitchell claims that military insiders viewed strange flying crafts cruising over U.S. missile bases and the White Sands facility in New Mexico, the site of the first-ever nuclear bomb detonation in 1945.

“They wanted to know about our military capabilities,” he said. “My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.”

Mitchell, who grew up near the famous Roswell site in New Mexico, said that he has heard from various Air Force officers who claim UFOs were a regular site during the Cold War.

“They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles,” he added. “Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their (test) missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft.”

Some are understandably skeptical about this theory that diplomatic aliens have traveled the cosmos to disarm U.S. military weapons.

“Given that the Universe is around 14 billion years old, if we’re being visited, it’s unlikely we’re dealing with a civilization just a few hundred years ahead of us, so stories of aliens managing to disrupt a few of our weapons tests are far-fetched,” Nick Pope, former Ministry of Defense UFO researcher, told Mirror online. “Chances are they’d be millions of years ahead of us and could do anything they wanted to.”

La Sultana, the Soviet spy-ship superyacht
Used during the Cold War to spy on American and British interests, La Sultana's latest incarnation is as a no-expense-spared superyacht

uilt in Bulgaria in 1962 and originally named Aji Petri, the vessel La Sultana has quite a mottled past. Originally it served as a Black Sea passenger ferry intended to carry cargo and people between Odessa, Sevastopol, Istanbul and Yalta but political developments caused an unexpected change of course. In 1970, the Soviet navy commandeered the boat for use as a spy ship and now, after an extensive refurbishment, this contentious boat has been turned into a luxury yacht available for private charter.

in future, it’s the yacht’s Cold War association that will likely provide its most appealingly distinctive feature. Officially it was enlisted to serve as an environmental research ship in the North Atlantic Ocean on behalf of the International Organisation of Telecommunications; unofficially it spied on the United States and Britain. Guests who prowl the ship today will likely come across dials still embossed with the Cyrillic alphabet; in its heyday the vessel was so admired that it featured on a series of Bulgarian stamps.

Its latest incarnation comes courtesy of La Sultana Group, who purchased the ship in 2007 and set about transforming it into a luxury superyacht. (The brand name might already be familiar to anyone who has stayed in La Sultana hotels in Oualidia and Marrakech in Morocco, although this yacht is being presented as a separate entity.)

The 12 or fewer guests who charter La Sultana will have access to seven cabins, all en suite and with marble baths and onyx fixtures; mahogany, cherrywood and cedar wood are used throughout and Moroccan artist Jilali Gharbaoui has provided works. Additionally there’s a dining room, lounge, two outdoor areas, a helipad, hammam and swimming pool; alongside three tenders, toys include two jet skis, kayaks and ample diving equipment. A crew of 17 will be on hand to take care of the details and the yacht has a range of 5,000 nautical miles so passengers will have plenty of freedom to roam.

he yacht is available for charter from this winter and costs from €225,000 £160,000) per week, excluding VAT and Advance Provisioning Allowance. You can see what other superyachts are available throughout each season in our guides to

Dem aliens again always meddling in earthly shanenagins... total BS...
Why? because not only does it not pass the BS sniff test it's also illogical.
If some advanced alien race really did do like what the article said they did, then the aliens must be masters of half-assing things which would not fit the typical 'advanced alien' being profile.

For a race of such advanced pacifist beings that have presumably mastered FTL travels and can probably bend space time, why would they just stop short of just shooting down ICBM tests? seems extremely antiquated.

If that is their intention wouldn't they just disable ALL the existing missile infrastructure or shoot some kind of magic rays to prevent humans from ever developing nuclear missiles?
