What are those things on the turret?

they can't be smoke launchers for they are a bit too big. if it is a rocket launcher then what are the things on top of the barrels? i think they a grenade launchers for the thing on the top may store the ammo and grenade launchers don't really have long barrels.

My guess? Some bizzare sensory system. Just because it LOOKS like a gun dosent nesciarily mean it IS a gun. Mabey some sort of infared system made after the T-34 was obsolete to act as a mobile detection platform against planes? Hell, might even be primitive laser designation technology.

if you look at how the "things" are attacked, they are made to elevate withthe main gun. so my guess is that they cannons, not aaa. if they were aa, they could not elevate high enogh.

Yes, they don't look like them. Yes, there are a lot of them.
But they're definately flamethrowers, based on the text that isn't inlcuded with the photo. Of course, believe me as you will, since my info is second hand as well.
