WWII Soviet arms supplied included TT-33s and PPSh-41s, which were quite useful in the sense that they used similar ammo as the MP-18 and C-96, along with Mosin Nagants.

German Chinese interaction already happened during the Weimar republic, in the same vein as Russian German help towards each other.
Both states were pharias or, in the case of China, phariased by the rest of the "international community". Since Weimar had no ressources at all to pressure China or Russia into accepting anything, they were much more open to conduct fairer trades.

There actually was a "ally with China" faction in the 3rd reich, but Japan was prefered since it clearly appeared to be stronger at that time.
Also, the military establishment favored japan. This was also due to the different experiences with fighting both sides, German troops during the "Boxer-Aufstand" did not saw the Chinese as equal opponents since they did not fight in a "civilised" way (it would have been quite stupid to do so for the Boxers), while Japanese (who were tasked with taking Germanys Chinese colonies) fought at defeated the (totally and utterly outnumbered) Germans in Tsingtao on their own terms.
