it'll be a brutal slaughter for the taiwanese if the entire PLA is up against the their baseball team... no need to care about aiming when you have that many people batting at once (doubt they have that many baseballs tho...)

i watched a women softball game in china during the athen olympics and the commentary was doing his best to explain the game, poor him , because apparently, no one sitting next to me (my grandparents, my cousin, and my old friends) understood a word he said. all they knew was that china lost.

baseball is just not something people in china care about.. and i won't be suprised if it never picks up.. it's just soooo boring... nothing happens most of the time...so who cares if china lose to japan and taiwan over some game most people in the world never heard of or play.

Baseball is huge in Central and parts of South America. It's also really big in Japan and Korea. It's growing in a few European countries too.

Baseball is big in pretty much the entire Latin America. I can find more people from the Central than from South, like Sammy Sosa.
Baseball is big in the ROs too.

But the PRC may be Asian like the ROs, but it's not one of the ROs.
