USS The Sullivans, DDG-68 AEGIS in 1/350 Scale

In this session I added the final photo etch metal parts (numerous grills especially) and then the decals. There was no helicopter pad decal that came with the model so I used old pieces of decals from other models to complete that part. It urned out fine. I suggest any model builder save old decals that they do not us for instances like this.

The decals went on fine and ended up looking like this:

Then it was time for touch up paint work, the final coats of dull-coat, and then the display photos.

The USS The Sullivans ended up looking very good. He she is:
