Very different from Truman's bird which kinda has some echos in the current Scheme in terms of colors and placement. Although it also comes off as a bit silly.

the VC25B's will be 20 feet longer then the Current VC25A the same height, but about 30 feet wider wingspan. internal cabin will be a little wider to.

Now totally off topic, Fast Lane in St. Charles, Mo. has a Shelby Cobra replica with a brushed aluminum body, (very cool) and polished "racing stripes", I think its priced about 150 K,, has a 427, its gorgeous, LOL!

My DAD transitioned into the A- model out of the C-119,, I can assure you this is NOT the first time a C-130 has been looped, or for that matter rolled,,,,, but it is the first time the C-130 has been looped in public, at an airshow, and on camera, nice catch, I'm sure that is going to take U-tube by storm..

No doubt it is in direct response to the Airbus A-400s very aggressive flying displays,,, I don't know who done it, but we really ought to find out, this is indeed historical, and points to the tremendous power and agility the C-130 brought to air transport since 1955...

Now I want to see a full on, "balls to the wall" F-35A, F-35B, and F-35C flying display, now that would open up some eyeballs, and its time to let LockMarts baby bird show her stuff!

It's an impressive display although a sorta why bother? Boeing 707 was rolled in its demo flight to. But as transport and passenger liners neither is supposed to do that in there main mission. As Lord help the passengers and cargo.

Just imagine being a load of paratroopers in a C130J that does a barrel roll for a second.... its a significant emotional event that will be requiring taking the whole unit back to base for extensive medical care.

Also between C130J and A400M. A400M I think has the more potential if Airbus can just get all the kinks worked out. C130J is a good bird but limited in what it can carry. Which in my opinion makes it better suited to specialty missions (Electric warfare, tanker, gunship, patrol, command and communications) where A400M is the better transport option.

LockMart has issued a statement: "NO PARATROOPERS WERE KILLED, INJURED, OR KRAPPED THEIR PANTS as a result of the C-130J looping at Farnborough International Airshow"!

I do think we need to know who the "guilty party" that looped that J-model is, and who was riding "shotgun"!

That being said, the loop was not up to IAC standard, and aircraft deviated from airshow center, and wings were not level at times,,, I do want to know who was flying???

and da ta da dat tat ta, the "guilty party" is Lockheed Martin CHIEF TEST PILOT! WAYNE ROBERTs! like my Daddy said, that's not the first C-130 that was ever looped or rolled??? in fact you should check out the you tube video of the "Four Horsemen" flying 4 C-130A models in very close formation, they got their start around the time of my birth, at Pope AFB, NC.

My Dad started flying a "real airplane" when he checked out in the A model! but the flight lead for the Four Horseman announced the team was no more after his first flight in the B model, which even with 4 bladed props, had become a flying "truck"!

the A was the real "hot-rod", after seeing some of the fun the fellows were having, LockMart dialed the pitch and roll rates way back.....

Looks like the passenger area is where the 'turret ring' for the FCS and launcher rails will be. Reloading will likely be through a seperate logistics vehicle.
