Different ammo otherwise similar to r2d2. The ones on ships use tungsten penetrators with discarding sabot. The land one I presume would use a different ammo type since the risk of colleteral damage is significantly higher.
You don't want hundreds of hot tungsten tips free falling on friendlies or even villages etc.
